«Проекція іншого» – проект Анни Тарадіной і Олени Менжулінойб що був виконаний у межаї виставка в рамках конкурсу молодих кураторів «Без жюрі и без премій», присвяченого століттю створення «Фонтана» Марселя Дюшана.
Проект розкриває тему багатомірності простору у контексті спадщини Марселя Дюшана. Роздуми митця лягли в основу експозиції: «...якщо тіні це двомірні проекції тривимірного світу, то тривимірний світ – це проекція чотиривимірного світу».
У просторі галереї було змодельовано три виміри і перехідний зв'язок між ними. Потрапляючи у галерейний простір, відвідувач вступає у конфлікт між звичним для нього увленням про навколишнє, двовимірною проекцією паралельного світу, та особистим сприйняттям тривимірного простору. Живучи у тривимірному світі, ми відкидаємо двовимірні проекції-тіні, а при переході у четвертий вимір тривимірний світ стає лише його тінню.
Таким чином, робота являє собою роздумом на тему людських уявлень про простір та існування різноманітних предметів та явищ у ньому, а також їхню справжність, або несправжність.
“Projection of the Other” is a project by Anna Taradina and Elena Menzhulina, which was performed at the end of the exhibition as part of the competition of young curators “Without a jury and without prizes”, dedicated to the centenary of the creation of Marcel Duchamp's “Fountain”.
The project reveals the theme of the multidimensionality of space in the context of the legacy of Marcel Duchamp. The artist's thoughts formed the basis of the exposition: “...if shadows are two-dimensional projections of the three-dimensional world, then the three-dimensional world is a projection of the four-dimensional world.”
Within the gallery, were modeled three dimensions and the transitional connection between them. Entering the gallery space, the visitor enters into a conflict between his familiar perception of the surroundings, a two-dimensional projection of a parallel world, and its personal perception of three-dimensional space. Living in a three-dimensional world, we reject two-dimensional shadow projections, and when we move into the fourth dimension, the three-dimensional world becomes only its shadow.
Thus, the work is a reflection on the topic of human ideas about space and the existence of various objects and phenomena inside of it, as well as their authenticity or falsity.
